Oops!

In this week’s sermon, Pastor Patrick takes us through chapter 17 of the first book of Chronicles. In this chapter King David and the prophet Nathan make a noble plan for the Lord, to which God answers no, despite David’s good intentions, instead making a promise to him of an eternal kingdom from his bloodline. In response, David goes to the Lord in humility, thankful and grateful for the covenant God has made to him. Pastor Patrick uses this chapter to emphasise the importance of trusting in the will and plans of God over our own, even if they are pure in intention.
