Oops!

In this part of his letter Paul seeks to remind the church in Corinth of the centrality of the resurrection to believers. If there is no resurrection then Christ could not have risen from the dead, His work on the cross is incomplete and our faith is worthless. But Jesus did rise from the dead – Paul lists the many witnesses to this fact – therefore the promised resurrection for believers is certain. We can look forward to new, perfect bodies in an eternity spent with our saviour.
