1 Corinthians 16.

The final chapter of this first letter of Paul to the church in Corinth sees the apostle answer another question concerning the church’s giving. Paul was collecting money from the mostly Gentile churches he had planted, to support the believers in Jerusalem as they faced a famine there at this time. Paul wanted to make sure the Corinthians were making it a habit to support the Lord’s work with regular giving from their financial resources. A requirement that applies to all God’s people in every age.
