Oops!

Paul reminds the Corinthian believers of the manner in which he, Paul, introduced them to the message of salvation. He didn’t try to win them to Christ with persuasive human arguments or philosophy. Paul instead focused his message entirely on demonstrating the power of God in opening their eyes to the truth and transforming their lives through the work of the Holy Spirit. This is the firm foundation on which they have based their faith and where we must ensure we base ours if we are to be sure of our salvation.
