Beginning a new series in the first letter of the Apostle Peter to the churches in Galatia, brother Cerose unpacks the very significant doctrines containing in the second verse. What does it mean that believers are ‘elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father?’ How do we reconcile our ability to choose to follow Christ with the Bible’s clear teaching that God chooses who He saves? Peter continues his opening remarks by listing the participation – in his readers redemption – of the three persons of the Godhead. How can there be only one God when the bible talks about God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit?
