Oops!

In 2 Corinthians chapter 7, Paul explains that his previous letter, though painful, had the desired effect of leading them to godly sorrow and repentance. This godly sorrow is what leads to salvation. Pastor Patrick emphasises the benefit of godly friendship in Titus which lead to Paul expressing his joy and pride in the Corinthians for their obedience and response to his instructions. This has strengthened his confidence in them.
