Oops!

By their behaviour, the believers in the church in Corinth are like spiritual babies, not yet ready to explore the deeper things of the Christian life. Paul points to their following after different teachers as a sign that they are not standing on the sure foundation of a faith based on Christ alone. The Corinthian believers need to ensure that the life of faith they build, will be constructed from valuable, durable, spiritual works that will be worthy of reward when they stand, one day, before Christ.
