Oops!

Challenging the appeal to their written credentials given by the false teachers active in the Corinthian church, Paul says his authority comes from the proof of the work of the Holy Spirit, through his ministry, in the transformed lives of the Corinthian believers. From this Paul moves on to contrast the nature and value of the old covenant of the law of Moses, relative to the far greater value and liberating nature of the new covenant in Christ.
