Jesus’ reply to Thomas’ question, regarding the way to God, presents us with a simple but profound truth, we cannot come to God unless we come via Jesus Christ. There is a way to God, we can know certain and reliable truth, and we can have eternal life but only through Jesus. This message renders every religion and philosophy redundant unless they direct us to Jesus and what He has done as the only way in which we can be saved from an eternity of torment. This short life gives us the opportunity to choose to follow this way and ensure we spend eternity in heaven instead.
