Luke 12:22-34.

Continuing on from His parable about the wealthy man who built new barns thinking that his possessions gave him security, Jesus asks His hearers to consider their priorities in life. He challenges us not to be preoccupied with concern for what we have, and how we look, but to focus on what is really important. If we look to God, we can trust Him to give us all we need of the material things in life. Instead we should be laying up treasure in heaven because as we focus on eternal things our desires, and concerns, will be directed there as well.
