Oops!

After throwing out those engaged in corrupt activities in the Temple Jesus spends the following few days teaching and preaching there. In a carefully arranged strategy, individuals and groups sent by the religious leaders seek ways in which they can discredit Jesus by asking Him a series of challenging questions. “From whom does Jesus get His authority?” A question about the afterlife from a group who didn’t believe in it and a political hot-button issue, “Should the Jews pay taxes to the Roman occupying power?” Jesus confounded them all and they had to admit defeat. The lamb of God, had passed His examination and could now be declared spotless.
