The book of Hebrews begins with a clear presentation of its purpose – Jesus is God’s son and He has brought the ultimate, authoritative revelation of God to mankind. This Jesus is the author of the universe, the representation of God, the sustainer of all things and the individual who after securing salvation has sat down in the elevated position at the right hand of God the Father.
