From Genesis to Revelation, the Bible is a single story. It outlines God’s dealings with man, and the thread that runs throughout is God’s plan of salvation. This plan is foretold in the Old Testament and revealed in the New with the incarnation, life, and sacrificial death, of Jesus Christ, the second person of the godhead. In the book of Psalms we see many poetic prophecies that refer to the coming messiah and are fulfilled in the life of Christ.
