Oops!

The twelve men hand picked by Jesus to be the disciples closest to Him were now to be sent out with the power to do similar things their Master had done. The casting out of demons, the curing of diseases and the healing of the sick were authenticating signs that these men were chosen by Jesus to represent Him. If those who heard the disciples rejected their message then they were rejecting Christ.
