Oops!

With Jesus’ trial now complete He is taken to the place of the skull – Golgotha – where He is crucified. In one of many fulfillments of Old Testament prophecies He is executed between criminals, His ‘crime’ recorded on a sign above His head is ‘King of the Jews’ no crime at all. Continuing to face the mockery of those around Him Jesus finally gives up His life with a cry that convinces the Centurion standing opposite, that this is no ordinary man but the Son of God.
