Oops!

After a long day teaching the multitudes of people by the Sea of Galilee, Jesus and His disciples set off by boat to cross the lake. A severe, hurricane-like storm developed and the disciples, even though they were familiar with the conditions on the lake, feared for their lives. They woke Jesus who had been sleeping through the storm and He rebuked the wind and calmed the waves. This demonstration of Jesus’ authority over the power of the natural elements made His disciples even more fearful as they began to realise who He really was.
