Jesus sends the disciples across the Sea of Galilee in a boat, gets the huge crowd to go home and goes alone up a mountain to pray. The disciples struggle with the wind and waves and Jesus goes to them walking on the water of the lake. Not recognising Him at first the disciples are amazed when Jesus speaks to them, enters the boat and calms the waves. Finally the twelve realise that the man who they have been following for the last few years is much more than a miracle-working teacher but really is God’s Son.
