Oops!

Jesus issues a series of woes on the towns where He has preached the Gospel without response. Their fate is to be worse than the city of Sodom as these Galilean towns had the benefit of seeing the miraculous works of the Son of God and yet hadn’t heeded the call to repentance. Jesus now moves from a general call to the whole people to repentance to issuing a personal invitation to come to Him and He will give everyone who comes, rest.
