Oops!

Pulling no punches, Jesus calls the Pharisees a ‘brood of vipers’ – snakes who grab their victims with their sharp fangs and inject them with poison. Jesus questions how any good words can come from such an evil source. He goes on to point out how significant our speech is in showing what our hearts are truly like. We will all have to give account for every word we speak on the day of judgement.
