Oops!

Choosing to address His audience in parables, Jesus confuses His disciples, who ask Him why He has changed His methods. Using the parable of the Sower (or the parable of the different types of soil) Jesus shows His disciples that profiting from the message of the Kingdom of God demands more than mere listening from those who hear it.
