Oops!

Using a parable of wheat and tares growing together, Jesus makes clear that there will come a time when those who choose to reject Him will be separated from those who follow Him. Jesus says that the consequences for everyone who rejects Him will be the same as that of the tares, being cast into the furnace of fire. Then Jesus points His listeners to the future significance and influence that the kingdom of heaven will have in the world.
