Oops!

Jesus takes His disciples outside Israel, to the region of Tyre and Sidon, where they are pestered by a Gentile woman seeking help for her demon possessed daughter. Surprisingly, Jesus appears not to be interested in responding to her pleas. But the woman persists even when Jesus tells her, by way of an analogy, that His priority is to bring the gospel message to the Jewish nation first. In recognising her faith, and delivering her daughter, Jesus demonstrates that God responds to faith no matter who it is that shows it.
