Oops!

Moving around the edge of the Sea of Galilee, Jesus heals great numbers of people in the Decapolis region, another area with a predominantly Gentile population. The crowds are amazed at the clear demonstration of divine power and glorify the God of Israel. Matthew then records a second miracle of feeding a huge group with very little, as he also recorded in the previous chapter. There are however a number of subtle differences between these two similar events.
