Oops!

Responding to the disciples question as to which of them would be ‘greatest’ in the kingdom of heaven, Jesus shows them a young child to illustrate the attitude required by someone seeking to enter the kingdom. The childlike qualities of humility and eagerness to learn should be valued in all believers. Jesus then goes on to warn the disciples, and all those with responsibility for the sheep Jesus has come to save, to treat those entrusted to their care with the same high regard, respect and love that God the Father has for them.
