In describing His return, Jesus tells His disciples that even though there will be certain significant signs in the time leading up to this event, life will carry on as usual. However some will be ready for it while others won’t. Illustrating this with a parable about two types of servant, Jesus emphasises the importance for those who follow Him, of living with the expectation of His return at any time.
