Oops!

Seeking to encourage those who follow Him to be ready for His return, Jesus tells the story of a group of ten bridesmaids waiting for the arrival of the groom and the wedding to begin. All ten were expecting the groom’s return but only five were ready and could go into the celebration. The five bridesmaids who weren’t prepared were permanently excluded. The warning is stark, only followers of Jesus who have the Holy Spirit, given to them by God through the ‘new birth’, will be able to accompany Jesus into His kingdom when He returns.
