Oops!

How often are we tempted to look at those around us and envy their prosperity? Those who set their faces firmly against God seem to suffer no consequences and even appear to be blessed. These are the thoughts of the Psalmist, Asaph, which he shares with us here. But then he comes into the presence of God and gets a completely different perspective when he considers the eternal destiny of those outside God’s kingdom. Is what we really value, as Asaph realises, set on God or on something else?
