The first of three studies on the Fruit of the Spirit from chapter 5 of Paul’s letter to the church in Galatia. Set within the context of the spiritual battle between the old and the new self in the life of the Christian, Paul encourages his readers to avoid using their freedom in Christ to continue to do what their ‘flesh’ used to do and instead cultivate the Fruit of the Spirit within.
