Titus 3.

Paul tells Titus to instruct the church to be law abiding citizens and not to speak badly about anyone. They, and we, should remember that before God intervened in our lives to save us, we had the same poor character and sinful behaviour that we are tempted to complain about in others. Members of Christ’s church should steer clear of wasting their time on foolish arguments and pointless debates. But we shouldn’t shy away from expelling from the body anyone who is set on creating division. Throughout, we must continue to engage in good works, not to secure our salvation, but because we want to demonstrate its transforming benefits to those around us.
