Oops!

Asked to intervene in a family dispute, concerning an inheritance, Jesus instead tells a parable about a man who is blessed with great wealth from his lands and makes this the focus of his life. When God decides that this man’s life is finished how prepared is he to stand before his maker? Jesus challenges His hearers, and us, to consider where we have laid up our treasure. Only that which is laid up in heaven will endure.
