Brother Cerose begins a short series on Paul’s letter to the church in Philippi – in modern day Greece – with a study of the first chapter. Here, Paul seeks to demonstrate from his own example, that although they will face persecution and have to endure suffering, the Philippians should recognise this is a sign of their faith in Christ. Cerose then goes on to explore why there is suffering in the life of the believer and non-believer alike.
